Port Otago log vessel berth (412m long, maximum draught of 11.6m) sits adjacent to the 4.6 hectare log storage area at Back Beach, Port Chalmers. The flat, paved area is served by road and rail, making it ideal for the aggregation, marshalling and shipping of logs, lumber and other forestry-based exports.
